ASSOCIATION CHENE

The CHENE Association – Centre d’Hébergement et d’Etude sur la Nature et l’Environnement – has been working to protect wildlife since 1980.

Located in Seine-Maritime, it specializes in the preservation of seals, birds and all types of wild animals. Their mission is to welcome, care for and release injured wild animals, and to raise public awareness of wildlife protection.

SOCAPS FUND is proud to finance the installation of interactive terminals in the watchtower, which will broadcast live content from the ponds and aviaries, enabling the public to follow the animals’ care protocols and lives through the cameras.

In 2023, SOCAPS FUND also financed the rehabilitation of a swimming pool currently occupied by birds, in order to accommodate seals whose population is increasing significantly year on year.
